Trade Floor Student Intern / Co-op
Powerex believes in developing students to grow the next leaders for our Trade Floor and other units across the company. Current university students gain valuable technical and soft skills during their time in one of Powerex’s dynamic teams. Here you will be challenged to put what you have learned in the classroom into practical use, and to take back new skills for your final years.
Co-op placements are typically 8-months and are available in many of our teams – check out your school's website for current openings, or submit your resume and cover letter to our general co-op position.

What stood out to me the most is the flexibility at Powerex. They truly care about the success of each employee and tailor the experience to match a specific person. This allows the individual to learn and apply their skills in the most effective way while supporting critical parts of the Powerex's business. Coming from an engineering program, my internship at Powerex has been a very different experience from what I am used to. In combination with a very supportive team, I have been able to try myself in a completely different profession and I enjoyed it very much. The energy trading industry is a complicated and very important field, and I am glad to have had the ability to learn its fundamentals through the data analytics perspective.
